The Mighty and Mysterious Maya

During our spring topic, we will be journeying back to the Ancient Maya era in Mesoamerica. We will find out about various aspects of Ancient Maya life, considering the mystery of why this civilisation collapsed. In English, we will be reading an exciting new novel, The Curse of the Maya by Johnny Pearce and Andy Loneragan. We will also learn about the geography of modern day Middle America and Mexico, including population, climate and exports.
