Trash to Treasure

Our topic this term, Trash to Treasure, will develop children’s understanding of being global citizens, aware of the world around them and their responsibility to look after it. We will look at the importance of recycling through a series of high-quality texts, and the concept of turning something used into something new and beautiful will link in with our DT: Creating pop-up books! In our Stunning Start, the children will spend the day completing a range of arty projects involving recycled materials and later in the term, we hope to take a trip to the Rampion Windfarm visitor centre.
